300 WordPress Followers

Y’all I can not believe that my small little blog has 300 people total. This is amazing and I am humbled. This hasn’t been easy to do. I have given up, cried and contemplated if it was worth it to write or if anyone would read of enjoy what I had to write. So I thought I would tell you a little of why I started blogging.

I started in 2016, but became ill during my pregnancy. I tried to write but I had to stop as it just wasn’t a major priority at the time. I really wanted to document my pregnancies and I sorta did but I just was to sick all the time. In February 2020, I had 100 followers but I decided to pick it back up again and blog about my fitness updates, the kids books I have written, family, Faith, and a bunch of other reasons but I feel very blessed on how it has grown. I don’t do this for the fame or fortune…because there really isn’t any fame or fortune in it and I don’t know if there ever will be. But I do it because I love to write and I love to share my life with others. I do it because I love my family and want to keep them in touch (they live in a different state). I also apply this with YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. But most importantly I feel called to write.

To write kids books, inspirations, recipes, advice, blog the sorrows, the happy times and the mundane times. In Colossians it says “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” I want to apply this verse in every detail of my life regardless on how I am viewed, treated, or grow/decline(looking at you Instagram peeps.) Just know that YOU are valued here and that I take every flower follower seriously. I didn’t do this the way people usually do it but I have been dedicating time, the work and giving it to God. Don’t give up just because it’s hard. Be genuine. Be honest and Be true to you. Thank you all! And God bless!
