Have you ever had it where you had a song play on repeat in your head? I used to get the annoying parts of a song or commercial all the time. But that’s not the case today. Today I woke up with Tasha Laytons song: Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be Okay.) One of the most impactful lyrics she sings is:
“Though the mountains may be moved into the sea
Though the ground beneath might crumble and give way
I can hear my Father singing over me
“It’s gonna be okay, it’s gonna be okay”
It’s amazing to me that most of my fears never come true yet I hold to them like glue. It’s amazing to me that the God who has spoken countless encouragements, promises, and truths over my head STILL protects me and wants victory for my life even when I don’t deserve it. That’s the thing about unconditional love, it’s for the undeserving. He’s such a good daddy. Happy Sunday everyone!
“Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people. Interlude”
